UI/UX Designer

About the role

We're looking for a UI/UX Designer with great taste who can create beautiful websites and intuitive digital products, and use Claude or other AI tools to turn their designs into working experiences.

You should have a strong eye for what makes a design exceptional, from typography and composition to motion and interaction. You can take a complex idea from early user flows to a polished, responsive website or product, and explain the decisions that make it work.

Responsibilities

  • Website design: Design and build beautiful, modern websites and landing pages with strong typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy.
  • Product design: Turn complex requirements into clear user journeys and intuitive interfaces for web and mobile.
  • Design execution: Create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes. Take responsibility for the quality and consistency of the final experience.
  • AI-assisted implementation: Use Claude or other AI coding tools to turn designs into working websites and prototypes. Review, test, and refine their output.
  • Motion and interaction: Design and implement purposeful animations, transitions, and micro-interactions that make interfaces feel polished and responsive.
  • Design systems: Build and maintain reusable components, responsive patterns, and design standards in Figma.
  • Product delivery: Work closely with engineers and healthcare teams to understand workflows, test ideas, and bring designs into production.

Candidate profile

  • Great taste and strong visual judgment. Your work demonstrates an exceptional eye for typography, spacing, color, composition, and interaction. You can explain what makes a design work and make deliberate choices about what to include, refine, or remove.
  • Thoughtful UX judgment. You simplify complex workflows and make design decisions grounded in user needs.
  • Strong Figma skills. You are proficient with Auto Layout, components, design systems, and interactive prototyping.
  • Hands-on AI tooling experience. You use Claude or other AI coding tools to turn designs into functional, interactive prototypes. You can demonstrate your workflow and explain where your judgment improved the result.
  • Website implementation ability. You can build responsive websites using Framer, Webflow, or HTML/CSS, with AI tools supporting your execution.
  • Motion and micro-interaction skills. You can design and implement animations, transitions, hover states, and feedback that improve the experience.
  • Attention to usability and accessibility. Your designs work across screen sizes and account for different user needs.
  • High initiative and ownership. You work independently, respond constructively to feedback, and follow through on the details of implementation.
